Just got back from the St. Andrews tour. I only new St. Andrews for the golf, the course was nice, but the city was also amazing. The way up was really good too. The stop at Faulkland was amazing. What a quaint town. Anstruther does have some good fish and chips. Will, our tour guide was great, he was funny, and informative. We were gone 9 hours and it seem like nine minutes. If I am ever back in Scotland, I am coming to you for a tour.

Hello, My sister and I just returned from your 3 day Skye Experience trip (3rd May 08). We had a brilliant time and I just wanted to write and tell you that. Ali, our guide was absolutely fantastic - we saw and learnt so much about Scotland but had an incredibly relaxing time too. Ali has the patience of a saint and was always good humoured and ever thoughtful of his group. Huge thanks to him. On the Isle of Sky we stayed at Witchwood I think it is - a lovely B&B and I would thoroughly recommend it. The owners are selling the business but the rooms were lovely and it is located in a great spot in Kyleakin. Thanks again - we would definately recommend this tour to our friends and can't wait to go back to Scotland! - Felicity Osman

Hi ShelbyMichael, I just wanted to thank you very much for letting us go on the Loch Ness Tour on Monday. We had a fantastic time, and it was a lovely group of people on the bus. I would personally like to thank Ali for making my last trip around Scotland so special. Hes a fantastic guide, and he even managed to blag us a free trip on the Loch Ness cruise! He took a lot of time to get to know everyone, and even though we were slightly behind schedule, made sure that everyone still got the scheduled stops, after checking that no-one was rushing back. Thank you so muchit was the last time the training team are all going to be together AND I got to say my goodbyes to Scotland. I wouldnt have wanted to do that with anybody else. For my 60th birthday, my lovely and generous son took me to Scotland, Wales, and London. Fortunately, we began our adventure in Scotland, because by the time we were headed to Wales I was too sick with pneumonia to do much besides enjoy the nice apartments David rented for us. Our time in Scotland was glorious and the rest of the trip was pretty miserable. One of the major joys of our time in Scotland was the day we spent cruising around the Highlands with Chris. I think that even if he hadnt mentioned it three or four times, by the end of that day, wed have recognized him as the BEST TOUR GUIDE IN SCOTLAND. We had a really wonderful time learning so much and seeing so much in just a single day. Im attaching a nice picture of Chris teaching us to fly using only whisky as fuel. This should really be a whole separate tour. And even when Chris ran over that families pony, he did a brilliant job of calming the heart broken children while explaining to the group, some of the equestrian history of Scotland. Thanks so much Chris for a great day. I hope your boss has a sense of humor, but with your working him, Im sure he must. If youre passing through Minnesota weve got plenty of space if you need a spot to hang in your travels.

Dear Marty, Remember me? I am the geography teacher from India who did the highland tour with you in the first week of September - there were only the five of us - Stevie the American and her husband and the two chinese, father and daughter and I sitting next to you and getting the most benefits. Really Marty what a tour that was and what an Excellent Guide we had in you! How well you brought out the beauty of the lochs and the glens and the highlands and how I enjoyed the highland music you played. The other day I watched Braveheart on TV and then Chariots of fire and I was back on the highlaands of Scotland again. Two months ago I visited Singapore and what a contrast it is to Scotland - they have doctored each and every bit even Sentosa Island there is nothing there that you can compare with Gods own country how glad I am that commercialisation has not yet touched Scotland. I tell all my friends to visit Scotland and to do the highland tour with you. Many many thanks for being such a wonderful guide. If ever you are in India do get in touch I shall be very happy. Much love - Marie Baracho

Here we are back in Paris (already) after a really great time in Scotland! Our bags are hardly unpacked and were already talking about returning. I didnt know too much about Scotland before going to Edinburgh last week. Id read some Stevenson and was familiar with Burns and Scott. No, believe it or not, Ive never seen Braveheart or Rob Roy. Id been to England and to Wales but had never made it up to Scotland. As far as contemporary popular culture goes, I knew about Britains The Ali G Show but didnt know a thing about Highland Experience Tours The Ali B Show. Ah, The Ali B Show, what a great treat. As you may remember, we took your one-day trip from Edinburgh up to Loch Ness and back down through Glencoe (Sunday 6 April BARTHEL & HOLLYFIELD). Our driver and guide was Ali. Thanks to his wonderful storytelling skills, his humour and his lively passion for Scottish culture, history and literature, this already breathtakingly beautiful experience became all the more ALIVE! Working myself with the public, I really could appreciate all the effort he put into the tour. By being available and talking to us during the stops and subsequently weaving stories that included us (the French, the Americans, the Dutch, the Greeks), I liked how he got as many people as possible personally involved in the experience. Alistair Buchanan is one of those rare finds and should be treasured as such. While the scenery is gorgeous in itself, Ali is the extra added bonus that makes all the difference. Weve already talked about your tours with many people here in Paris in our circle of friends. If any of them go, they know that Highland Experience Tours is not to be missed. And the next time were in Scotland, we WILL look you up again.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say a massive Thank You to Chris and the Highland experience for the tour on Friday. The passion, stories, comedy and enthusiasm Chris displayed on the tour were outstanding, so much so that my Finnish customers did not want to leave Scotland and I am sure they will be back. I will be happy to recommend the Highland Experience to anybody who is visiting Scotland. Your brand of tourism is the way it should be done. ps- Chris thanks for recommending the pub in Leith, it was the perfect end to a fantastic day. SLAINTE MHATH

Wonderful experience seeing St. Andrews and bits and pieces of Scotland. Loved the history that Will made a part of the tour, it is an amazing history (for those of us in the US who think 200 years is a milestone of history) and was very well delivered and appropriate to the tour. Will was excellent - my compliments to him and your team.

My name is Abhishek, and I was on a 3 day highland tour on 22nd March. I had an amazing and memorable time during the tour. Our guide, William, was a brilliant man with lof of knowledge and dedication. I would like to send you couple of his photographs which we took, when William was showing us head-dipping at a river which comes from fairy land in the highlands. I'll definitely recommend Highland experience to anyone who is visiting Scotland for any tour. Also, I'll pick up Highland Experience again if I again visit Scotland. Thanks for all your courtesy. Keep up your good work.

I'd like to say thank you very much for the excellent Loch Ness 1 day tour you provided on 130408. I found our tour guide Alistair provided an in-depth knowledge of the locations visited, and he made our first visit to Scotland a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I've attached some pictures taken from that day, you may use to upload on your website. Once again, thank you for an excellent day out.

We did the highlands tour yesterday, Tuesday, April 15, with Tim, and he was fabulous...very caring and funny, and a competent driver. It was purely delightful, and we felt cared for and safe. We loved him, and the whole experience.
