3 Day Skye Experience

Our three-day Skye tour is the best way to see this unique and special place. The route we take to the island is itself full of spectacle. As we head north from Glasgow, we'll tour through the stunning Perthshire scenery and then explore the picturesque town of Pitlochry (where the best coffee and cake can be had). We'll travel past the majestic peaks of the Cairngorm mountains and you'll visit the battlefield of Culloden, the site of the defeat of the Jacobite forces. Your first night is in the picturesque village of Drumnadrochit close to Loch Ness.

Next day, you'll cross the bridge to Skye mid-morning and then have the rest of the day to explore this magical island. Because you'll be staying on the island for the night (at the beautiful village of Kyleakin), you can take things nice and easy but still see all the sites. Explore the craggy Cuillin mountains, the dramatic hills of the Quiraing and outstandingly beautiful Trotternish peninsula. What Skye memories will you bring back? Maybe you'll spy an inquisitive seal peeking out of the waves as you walk the coast; or perhaps you'll be lucky enough to spot an antlered stag silhouetted against the horizon as the sun falls. One thing is for certain: you'll come home with memories of Scotland that will stay with you forever.

Of course, once you leave Skye on day three, the Highland magic is far from over. As we drive away from the island, the road passes Eilean Donan castle, one of the most iconic images of the Highlands. Here you have the chance to take photographs and explore the castle that featured in the film Highlander. Our route south takes us through the stunning scenery of the Great Glen and Glen Coe and across the brooding expanse of Rannoch Moor and down past Loch Lomond.

At the end of the tour, you'll have made new friends, have heard ancient stories and have followed in the footsteps of Bonnie Prince Charlie. Most importantly you'll have experienced the magic that is the Scottish Island of Skye.
