Travel through Argyll and Bute into the Highlands, crossing Rannoch Moor — Britain’s largest moorland. Enter Glen Coe, where towering peaks and waterfalls set the stage for the dramatic story of the Glencoe Massacre. Depending on the season, you may see the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the viaduct*; Harry Potter fans will recognise this iconic structure from “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”. Visit Loch Shiel, where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard in 1745.(*Please note: Our tour is scheduled to see the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct; however, as the train is operated by a separate company, we cannot guarantee it will run or be on time. This service is seasonal, operating from 7th April to 24th October 2025, but delays and cancellations may occur due to factors beyond our control. On days that the train is not in operation, you will still have the opportunity to visit the viaduct.)
